Pauline S. Hindman

Pauline S. Hindman, 81 of Franklin, passed away on October 22, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital in Erie. Pauline was born on September 13, 1936 to the late Earl Francis and Dorothy Irene Spence Stull.

Pauline married her first husband, Harry Allen McKibben in 1953, he preceded her in death in 1963. She remarried her second husband, William Preston Hindman, in October of 1964, he preceded her in death in October of 2004.

Pauline loved cooking for her family and spent a lot of time crocheting. In her earlier years she loved the outdoors and camping and fishing with her husband, she also was an avid reader. She was a member of the Daughters of the King, Grace Chapter, at St. John Episcopal Church and Grace Lutheran Church in Franklin.

Pauline is survived by her children, Joyce Eileen and her husband Reverend Randall Frenz, Pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, of Franklin, Amy Irene and her husband Timothy Early of Slippery Rock, Virginia and her husband Anthony Acon Jr. of Industry, PA, and William Held-Hindman and his spouse David of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, nine grandchildren, Melissa Hardy, Anthony “TJ” Acon III, Chad Acon, Amanda Hunt, Brandon Acon, Roman Hunt, Weston Frenz, Ryan Edgington, and Tylyn Early, six great-grandchildren, three sisters, Sally, Judy, and Earla, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husbands and parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her grandson, Eric Preston Hunt, two sisters, Mona Lee and Phyllis, and one brother, Ray William “Bud”.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Jamison Funeral Home, Inc. Branch of Huff Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Franklin.

There will be no public visitation as per Pauline’s wishes

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Interment will be in Prairie Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in Pauline’s name to the Grace Lutheran Church or the Daughters of the King Missions fund, both located at 513 12th Street, Franklin, PA 16323
