I became aware of Tom's passing just yesterday. My sincere condolences go out to his family members who I know are feeling his loss. I did not have the privilege of knowing Tom for more than a short time, but I always enjoyed sitting and talking with him when the opportunities arose. Our personal histories and resulting worldviews were very different, but we still somehow connected in ways that seemed to bring our souls together. I came to love Tom as a friend in need, and I will miss him. My thanks to Pauline who faithfully served him during his last weeks and days. Blessings.

I am so lucky to have had such a great friend. My heart goes out to you all in this time of sorrow. Tom will be missed tremendously
