William J. Anderson, 81, of Boyers, PA passed away at home with family at his side on Thursday, January 11, 2018.

 Bill was born in Pittsburgh on December 14, 1936 to Frank G. Anderson and Elizabeth A. Anderson (Mahoney). 

He graduated from Carrick High School, Pittsburgh, in 1955 and was employed at the Clerks of Courts, Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas and as an Agent Supervisor in the Office of the Inspector General, Commonwealth of PA until his retirement in 2001. Bill was a member of St. Peter RC Parish, Slippery Rock, PA, and he was a longtime member of the St. Anthony Church choir, Forestville, PA.  Bill’s love, strong will, honesty, and sense of humor will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Bill is survived by sons, Patrick J. (Dori), Pittsburgh, PA; Eric W., West Sunbury, PA; Kevin M., Houston, TX; and daughter, Karen L. Czech (Todd Smith), Eau Claire, PA, and 12 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by brother, Frank G. Anderson, Jr.; sister, Betty F. Anderson; granddaughter, Hannah Anderson; and his wife of 54 years, Kathleen G. Anderson (Moffat).

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Jamison--McKinley Funeral Home, Inc., 117 North Main Street, Harrisville, PA with viewing on Monday, January 15 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.  A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 16 at 11 am, St. Anthony Church, Forestville with burial at St. Anthony Cemetery, Harrisville, PA. Donations may be made in Bill’s memory to Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
