Martin Friedrich Hubenthal, 43, of Harrisville, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly on July 13, 2018.
Martin was born in Grove City, Pennsylvania on March 19, 1975 to Karl A. and Rheta Peacock Hubenthal.
Martin graduated from Christian Liberty Academy in Paramaribo, Suriname in 1993. He attended Letourneau University. He was employed at Cardinal Welding in East Palestine, Ohio as a machinist. Martin worked at Tri-Max Manufacturing in Valencia, Pennsylvania prior to working at Cardinal Welding.
Martin loved discussing philosophy and nuclear physics. He enjoyed tinkering with a prototype model of a rotary engine he’d designed. He was always curious about nature, and enjoyed teaching his daughters about insects and other animals.
Loved ones left to cherish his memory are his wife, Michelle; daughters, Mara and Rosalie Hubenthal; parents, Karl A. & Rheta Hubenthal of Harrisville; his siblings, Karl S. Hubenthal of Colorado, Katrin Anderson and her husband, Charles, of Wyoming, Georg Hubenthal and his wife, Mindy, of Georgia and Johannes Hubenthal and his wife, Tiffany, of South Carolina; his in- laws, Joe and Susan McCoy of Emlenton, as well as numbers members of his extended family.
Martin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Fred and Genevieve Hubenthal, and his maternal grandparents, Martin and Marian Peacock.
Family will receive friends at the Jamison McKinley Funeral Home, 117 North Main Street, Harrisville on Thursday, July 19,2018 from 2-4 and 6-8. Funeral service will take place Friday, July 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Calvary OPC Church, 443 North Main Street, Harrisville PA with the Rev. Scott Fleming officiating . Internment will take place at Scrubgrass Cemetery.
