Robert A. ”Bob” Hey Jr, 64 of Kennerdell, passed away at home surrounded by his family on May 14, 2017 at 6:30 am. Bob was born on May 29, 1952 to Robert A. Hey Sr. and the late Loretta F. Fryer Hey. He was a graduate of North Allegheny High School in Pittsburgh and then went to serve his Country in the United States Navy. He married his wife, Judith Garrigan on June 10, 1972 in Pittsburgh. Bob worked for twenty years at Polk Center as an Equipment Operator until his retirement.

Bob loved to travel with his wife and spend time with her. He was an outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He was also a collector of various different bows and arrows. Nothing brought Bob more joy than spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

In addition to his father and wife, Bob is survived by four children, John T. Hey and his wife Jenna of New Castle, Rachel L. Hey of Carlisle, Kevin R. Hey of Kennerdell, and Nicole M. Hey and her companion Jeremy of Grove City, five grandchildren, Gabrielle, Ava, Jordan, Lydia, and Hunter, and three siblings, Gary T. Hey of Carnegie, Sally J. Hey of Carnegie, and Beth Ann Mellon and her husband Patrick of Pittsburgh.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Jamison Funeral Home, Inc. 117 N. Main St, Harrisville.

A Memorial Service for Bob will be held at a later date
