Samuel Hickok, 60 of Grove City passed away December 9, 2017 at his residence. 

Sam was born January 25, 1957 in Butler, he was the son of the late Hugh J. and Jean M. Hickok.

Sam graduated from Slippery Rock High School.  He was most recently employed at Woodings Industrial as a machinist.  

Sam loved his Harley Davidson and enjoyed riding it when he health permitted.  He did all his own work his bikes and was trade machinist for over 40 years.  Spending time with his family brought great joy to Sam.   Sam took great pride in being a former Lieutenant and EMT, running calls with the Grove City Rescue Squad before it disband. 

Loved ones left to cherish Samuel's memory is his son Caleb Hickok and his wife Megan of Grove City, his brothers Paul Hickok and his wife Sharon of Prospect  and Jim Hickok of Rocky Springs WY.  Also surviving is his former wife Margie Evans and her husband Scott, His nieces Olivia Nicklas and her husband Cody and there 3 children; Haley Wiles and her husband Jason 

Preceded in death by his parents Hugh and Jean Hickok.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Jamison Funeral Home, 117 North Main Street, Harrisville PA with the Pastor Donna Yanosy officiating from Friendship Presbyterian Church, Slippery Rock. 

The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be sent to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis TN 38148.

A memorial ride is being planned this summer, further information will be provided on Samuel and Caleb's Facebook pages closer to the date.
