Ann P. Nemet (Bishop), 95, of Orchard Manor passed away December 21, 2020.
Ann was born June 14, 1925 in Coaltown, Butler County. She was the daughter of the late Emmanuel Kober and Mary Whitehead Patton.
She received her education from Coaltown School and West Sunbury High School. She played the violin in the High School band and had a great passion for music.
She married Joseph Nemet Sr, he passed away in 1962.
Ann was employed at the Odd Fellows Rest Home in Grove City, the Bashline Hospital. Ann retired in 1990 from Grove City College, having worked there for 24 years.
She was a loving grandmother and great grandmother who displayed her love for each one of them. Ann enjoyed crocheting stuffed animals and blankets for the different seasons of the year and she kept her mind sharp with crossword puzzles. She also loved playing the lottery.
Loved ones left to cherish Ann’s memory are her two sons and two daughters-in-law, Joseph Nemet Jr. (Shun Mei) of Grove City and John P. Nemet (Judy) of Clintonville. Her grandchildren: John W. Nemet (Jennifer) of Grove City, Joseph Nemet III (Aleasha) of Erie, Jeff C. Nemet (Mindy) of Parker and Melinda A. Muehlbronner (James) of Portersville. Her great grandchildren: Quinton, Olivia, Jaxton, Chloe, Joseph IV and Mercy.
Ann is also survived by her brother Emmanuel Kober Jr., of West Sunbury and several nieces and nephews.
Ann was proceeded in death by her parents and siblings Joe, Jim, Horace and Rush Kober, Clara Grabigel and Lucille Herring.
