Bonnie McKinley, 83, of Clintonville passed away July 23, 2025 at Wexford Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Bonnie was born August 5, 1941 in Grove City. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Dorthea (Bailey) Porter.
Bonnie was a graduate of Victory Joint School in 1959. She continued her education at Slippery Rock University in 1963 with a master degree in Physical Education.
Bonnie married William R. McKinley on June 26, 1966. Together the couple had two daughters Yvonne and Sonya.
Bonnie was employed with the Franklin Area School District as a physical education teacher prior to the birth of her daughters. Bonnie was a member of the Union Presbyterian Church in Clintonville. She enjoyed bowling in numerous leagues and playing tennis. She loved horses, especially her favorite horse Joe.
Bonnie is survived by her husband Bill McKinley of Clintonville, her daughter Sonya White and her husband Ben, son-in-law Chris White, her brother Ben Porter and his wife Rita, her sister-in-law Elva Porter and her grandchildren Andrew, Sophia, Katheryn and Finley White.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Yvonne White who passed away January 28, 2019 and her brother Bob Porter.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at the Union Presbyterian Church, 409
Emlenton Street, Clintonville, at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Mark Frailey.
