Christopher Joseph Barsotti

Christopher Barsotti, 51, of Grove City passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at the VA hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born May 11, 1970, Chris was the son of Joseph and Marilyn Barsotti.

Chris worked at Valley Community Recourses and Matthews International.  He was a veteran of the Desert Storm War. He earned medals for Valor, Expert Marksmanship, National Defense Service, and Kuwaiti Liberation.

Chris was a man of faith.  He enjoyed nature especially in the fall.  Chris loved going for car rides, widdleing, playing chess, cooking and spending time with his children and family.

Loved ones left to cherish Chris’s memory are his daughter Emma Barsotti of Butler, his son Ethan Barsotti of Butler, his mother Marilyn Barsotti of Grove City, his brothers and sisters Vincent Barsotti of Pittsburgh, Mark (Angie) Barsotti of Erie, Matthew Barsotti of Pittsburgh and Angela (Kevin) Podvasnik of Grove City and several nieces and nephews.

Christopher was preceded in death by his father Joseph Barsotti.

Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, July 9, and from 9:30 to 10:30 on Saturday July 10, at the Jamison McKinley Funeral Home, 117 North Main Street, Harrisville.  Christopher’s funeral mass will take place at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 232 Boyers Road, Forestville, PA on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with father John Marcucci officiating.  Interment will follow at the St, Anthony Cemetery in Harrisville.
