Dan Edward Cogswell, April 17,1944- January 19,2021
76, From Fritch Texas was promoted to glory. There to meet him was his beloved Deannie and Marilyn, his daughter Laura, Parents , Everett and Laura, brothers, Clarence, Raymond, Lonnie, sister Helen and many other loved ones.
Dan was known for his out going friendly nature, making friends from coast to coast. He lived in several states and was a boilermaker out of local 182 Salt lake City Utah. He was a very strong man and once lifted the end of a 700 pound table with six guys on it! He said he got it about A half inch off the ground.
He took his family on many trips, exploring the great outdoors. The Grand Canyon, yellow stone national park, The Red Woods and Mount Rushmore are just a few examples. In the Summer he spent time at Camp Wilhelm, where he made many friends who became family.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and especially his childern, Buzz, Ed, Tina, Dennis, Frank, Stacey.
Brothers, Chester Roy, John, Jim, Ralph, Ed and Keith.
Sisters, Marie, Polly, Rachael and Annie.
Grandchildren, Meoldy, Steven,Danielle, Joe, Rachel, Brandy , Ashley, Darren,Jessica,Mitchell,Darcie, Carly, Nick and Luke.
22 Great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at the Jamison McKinley Funeral Home, 117 North Main Street, Harrisville PA, on Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Charles Dahlstrom will be officiating the funeral service.
