Dean James Sutton

Dean James Sutton, 17, of Barkeyville, PA, passed away at home Monday night, January 19th, 2026. 

Born in Grove City Pa, Dean was the youngest child of Chad and Jeannie Sutton. He was baptized at Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church in 2008. He was a student at Franklin Senior High School and was enrolled in Venango Technology Center in Automotive Technology. Dean enjoyed anything with a motor and was hoping to leave a positive impact on the world with his skills. He was most happy boating at Moraine State Park with his family. The people that knew Dean knew him most for being outgoing, funny and definitely hard working. 

Dean is survived by his parents Chad and Jeannie Sutton, by his older sisters Samanthia Sutton, Jackie Sutton and Sara Sutton, his cousins Olivia Burgher, Savannah Dimitt and Nathan Johnson, and his aunts and uncle, Charity Dimitt, Marsha Johnson, Patty Bailey and Andy Bailey and his grandfathers and grandmother James D. Bailey and Dean I. Sutton and Cherrie Miller.

Dean was preceded in death by his Meemaw Margaret Bailey, and his uncle Brad Bailey.

Family will welcome friends at the Jamison-McKinley Funeral Home, 117 North Main Street, Harrisville from 5 to 7 PM on, Friday, January 23, 2026.
