Doris “Dorie” Riddle, 92, passed away September 11, 2023 at Autumn Grove Nursing Home in Harrisville.
Dorie was born May 3, 1931 in Forestville. She was the daughter of the late Charles R. and Mabel Seaton Bovard.
Dorie attended Slippery Rock High School. She was married to James C. Riddle on October 25, 1958. He passed away September 17, 2016.
Dorie was devoted housewife and mother. She was a true care giver. She took pride in the excellent care she provided for her husband and sons prior to their passing. Dorie was of Methodist Faith.
Loved ones to cherish her memory are her many nieces and nephews.
She was welcomed into heaven by her parents, husband, her two sons Rodney Riddle who passed away in 2009 and Brian Riddle who passed away in 2016. Her brother and sisters Norma, Betty, Chuck, Gary, Shirley and Audrey.
Family will receive friends at the Jamison McKinley Funeral Home, 117 North Main Street, Harrisville on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m. Rev. Willard Morse will be officiating the service at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m.
