Emmanuel Kober Jr.

Emmanuel Kober Jr., 84, of Cherry Township, Butler County passed away on Friday Sept.8, 2023, at Autumn Grove Nursing home in Harrisville following a short illness. 

Emmanuel was born on August 23, 1939 in Coaltown, Pa. to Emmanuel Kober Sr. and Mary Whitehead Patton Kober.  He graduated from what is now called Moniteau High School.

Emmanuel was the youngest of eight, four brothers and three sisters whom all preceded him in death.

Emmanuel was married for thirty-two years to Lillian F. Bishop and was the father of three, Emmanuel Kober III, Tambra L. Burke and Thomas S. Kober.  Thomas sadly preceded his father in death on Nov.23, 2021.

He was the Grandfather of five, David (Nicole) Wiltrout, Cody Wiltrout, Mickey Wiltrout, Tom Kober and Megan (Andy) Kober Jesteadt; and the Great grandfather of three, Parker, Emery, and Nolan Wiltrout.

Emmanuel was a hard worker with great ambition. He retired from Berry Metal where he worked as a Foreman.

He loved music, outdoors and long walks in the woods.  He shared many stories of joy growing up on a farm.  In his latter years he enjoyed his furry little buddy "Sammy." He shared his love for dogs with his long-time "Dear" friend Donna Krepin.

Emmanuel Kober Jr. will be forever missed by all who knew him best.
