Francis Stoops

Francis Stoops, 91, of Quality Life Services, Grove City and formerly of Boyers, passed away June 13, 2022.

Francis was born on September 10, 1930, and he was the son of the late Albert and N. Violet Dickey Stoops.

Francis was an avid reader and he loved to visit his family’s cottage at Canadohta Lake. He loved plants and especially enjoyed growing flowers. His special cat Jake was his best buddy.

Loved ones left to cherish Francis’s memory are his siblings Jean Betros of Boyers, Donald L. Stoops of Florida and David L. Stoops and his wife Kathy of Harrisville. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Francis was welcomed into heaven by his parents and his brother James A. Stoops.

A private family service took place. Burial took place Annandale Cemetery in Boyers. The Jamison McKinley Funeral Home in Harrisville is assisting the family with arrangements.
