Fred Travis

Fred Travis, 76 of Trinity Living Center, passed away October 25, 2023.

Fred was born January 8, 1947 in Barkeyville.  He was the son of the late Ted and Annie Travis.

Fred was married to the late Diana Hanford for 40 plus years prior to her passing in 2017.

Fred received his education from Victory Joint School.  He was self employed as a local house painter.  Fred could often be found at the Main Street Diner in Grove City having coffee with his friends.  He was also a western movie buff.  He loved collecting and watching any western movie.

Loved ones to cherish his memory are his children Lisa Cruz and her husband Rio of Grove City, Steve Travis and his wife Jaime of Mercer and Jeff Travis of Grove City.  Fred’s grandchildren also survive Amelia, Aislyn, Curtis and Renee. Fred's great grandchildren also survive Riley and Reed.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brothers and sisters.

A memorial service is being scheduled for a later date.  The Jamison McKinley Funeral Home, Harrisville is assisting the family with arrangements.
