Joseph V. Barsotti, 76, of Grove City, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, April 27, 2021.
Born September 2, 1944, in Pittsburgh, Joseph was the son of the late Vincent and Anna Maria Barsotti.
On July 31, 1965, Joseph married Marilyn Eberlien who survives.
Joseph was a man who loved with his whole heart. Family has always been #1 to him but his close second was fine cuisine. He enjoyed raising his children and grandchildren and spending long days on car ride adventures. Two of his other passions were hunting and fishing.
For several years Joseph drove for Barsotti’s Bakery, he later drove for Courier Express and worked at Tambellini’s Resteraunt.
Loved ones left to cherish Joseph’s memory are his wife Marilyn, his children Vincent Barsotti of Pittsburgh, Mark (Angie) Barsotti of Erie, Christopher Barsotti of Grove City, Matthew Barsotti of Pittsburgh and Angela (Kevin) Podvasnik, his grandchildren Paul (Leslie) Barsotti, Kenneth Miller Jr., Kylie M. Miller, Brittany Barsotti, Sarah Barsotti, Emma Barsotti, Ethan Barsotti, Gabriel Barsotti, David (Amanda) Barsotti, Dean Barsotti, Reid Barsotti, Kelly Podvasnik, Kevin Podvansnik Jr. and Katie Podvasnik and ten great grand children.
Also surviving are Joseph’s brothers Frank (Pat) Barsotti of Gaithersburg, MD and Peter (Carol) Barsotti of White Oak.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Vincent and Anna Maria Barsotti.
Family will receive friends at the Jamison McKinley Funeral Home, 117 North Main Street, Harrisville on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Joseph’s funeral mass will take place at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 232 Boyers Road, Forestville, PA on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with father John Marcucci officiating. Interment will follow at the St, Anthony Cemetery in Harrisville.
