Linda L. Long, 81, of Grove City, passed away April 8, 2026 at Hospice of the Valley in Ohio.
Linda was born January 14, 1945 in Sewickley, she was the daughter of Willis Frinfrock and Bonnie Funk. After Willis passing Linda was then raised by her step father Junior Leasure.
Linda graduated from Sewickley High School and went on to further her education at business college to become a secretary. She married William Long and he passed on September 2, 1988.
Linda was devoted housewife and mother to her family. Earlier in life Linda, Bill and her boys spent weekends camping in Tionesta on the lake. She loved to be gardening especially in her flower beds watching the humming birds. Linda was a member of the Grove City Alliance Church in Grove City where she was an active member teaching Awana Club to the children. She held the Good News Club out of her home which was a Bible study for children and youth. Recently Linda had been attending Wayside Community Church with her family.
Loved ones to cherish her memory are her sons Dan Long and his wife Michelle and Craig Long, her grandchildren Adam, Sammy, Darin, Allyson and Ryan, numerous great grandchildren, sisters Carol Chellman (Marvin), Denise Chellman (Howie), and Lori Ratliff (Russ).
Linda was welcomed into heaven by her parents, husband and her brother Rodger Leasure.
Family will welcome friends at the Jamison McKinley Funeral Home, Friday, April 10, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the Wayside Community Church, 1911 Mercer Grove City Road, Mercer PA 16137 at 2:30 p.m.
