Lonnie Cogswell Obituary

Lonnie Cogswell, 67, born October 12, 1953 was promoted to glory December 24, 2020. There to meet him was his daughter, Jennifer, his parents Everett Cogswell and Laura McCamey. His stepparents Belva Cogswell and Neal McCamey, his brother Raymond, and many loved ones. Lonnie lived with his brother John and his sister-in-law Stacey, from Sharpsville, PA.

Lonnie was loved and will be greatly missed by his daughter Jamie Zaboroski and Scott Moore. Grandchildren- Brittany, Isabella (Navaeh), Grace, Kennedy, Brayden, Sierra, Dakoda and Joel. Great-grandchildren- Aizlynn, Ammona, Ledger, Callen, Cyrus, Jennica, Lunna and Owen. Brothers- Chester, Dan, Roy, John, Jim, Ralph, Edward Cogswell and Keith McCamey. Sisters-Marie Shaw, Polly Hale and Rachael Baker. Lonnie loved and was loved by many nieces and nephews.

Lonnie loved God and his family. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and walking in the woods. He was a man full of wisdom about nature and many other things. He taught his daughters and grandchildren how to identify the tracks of animals and the sounds of different birds. He would point out what was good to eat and what to stay away from during their walks, and to never leave trash behind. Lonnie also enjoyed reading and cooking. We say, “Later, and we love you.”

Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 11:00am.

Shepherd of the Valley, 2717 Valley View Rd., Sharpsville, PA, Officiating will be Chaplain Sheila Palonen.
