Sheri Hipps

Sheri Hipps, 63, of Grove City passed away unexpectedly January 31, 2025.

Sheri was born June 1, 1961 in Grove City to the late Harry and Mary (Parquette) Rust.

Sheri married the love of her life, Dorsie Hipps.   The couple spent 33 years together, making many memories, sharing many laughs, taking Sunday drives, camping, spending summertime’s outside around the pool, and just enjoying each other’s company.

Sheri worked in the Grove City area at many local businesses including management positions at Pizza Hut and Domino’s Pizza.

In her later years, Sheri loved spending time at home being a homemaker.  She loved crafts and made numerous items for her family and friends to treasure. Sheri was an excellent cook and loved having her family together to enjoy her newest recipes. 

Loved ones left to cherish her memory are her husband Dorsie, sister Gina (Doug) Shaffer, Brothers Jeff and Marty Rust, sons Levi (fiancée Melissa) and Trevor (Amber), many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and grandchildren Daniel, Sydney, Harmon, Hayden, Noelle, Summer and Charity who all cherished their “Nana.”

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

A private family service was held and burial took place at North Liberty Cemetery.

The Jamison McKinley Funeral Home in Harrisville assisted the family with arrangements.
