Shirley Kelly

Shirley A. Kelly, 82, of Harrisville, passed away October 19, 2025 at Grove City Hospital.

Shirley was born December 13, 1942 in Jefferson County.  She was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Arabelle L. (Enterline) Alcorn.

She graduated from Victory Joint School in 1960.  Shirley married James A. Kelly on June 8, 1963 in Barkeyville. Jim passed away February 3, 2008.  She was devoted housewife and mother.  Shirley also worked for Fellowship Manor in Grove City in the general housekeeping department.  She was an avid sewer, reader and liked to cook.    Shirley loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren, playing board games, card games or dice was one of her favorite things to do with them.  Shirley looked forward to gardening each spring.   She was member of the West Unity Community Church where she enjoyed attending the many functions at the church.

Shirley is survived by her children Curtis (Elaine) Kelly of Slippery Rock and Brenda (Douglas) Auvil of Butler; her grandchildren Brian Kelly, Courtney Kelly, Nicole (Aaron) Zitalone and Kristin Auvil.  Shirley has one great grandson Lorenzo Zitalone.  Shirley’s sister survives Donna Early and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.  

Welcomed into heaven by her parents, husband, her brothers, Robert, Clarence, Raymond “Bud”, Richard, William, Ronald, Charles “Jr” Alcorn. Her sisters Helen Guiste-Diem, Jean Reitz, Delores Heslop, Linda Bryan.

Family will welcome friends at the Jamison McKinley Funeral Home, 117 N. Main Street, Harrisville on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 from 4:00 till 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will take place at the funeral home Thursday, October 23rd, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Boyd Smith officiating from West Unity Community Church.

Burial will take place at Prairie Cemetery.
