Veronica M. Dobson

Veronica Marcella Dobson, 98, of Boyers passed away January 19, 2021

Veronica was born November 30, 1922 at home in Boyers. She was the daughter of the late Marcel P. Ferrere and Anna M. Fazekas Ferrere.

Veronica married Gale V. Dobson on May 17, 1947 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Murrinsville, PA.  Veronica was a lifelong member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Forrestville, PA.  She was a devoted wife and mother and worked for Burdick's Men's Clothing Store in Grove City for many years.

Veronica is survived by her husband, Gale, her daughters, Cequenda Bruggeman of Butler, Roxanne Dobson of Boyers, Vanessa Barnett (Richard Grabowski) of Butler, her grandsons, Barret Evans, Christian Bruggeman (Colleen Casey) of San Francisco, Zane Barnett of Butler, Seth Barnett of Butler, and a great-grandson.

She is also survived by her sister, Florine Plavny of Slippery Rock, her brother, Marcel Ferrere (Donna), of Grove City, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Veronica was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Jocelyn Dobson, and her brothers Alfred Ferrere and Regis Ferrere.

Family will receive friends at the Jamison-McKinley Funeral Home, 117 North Main Street, Harrisville, PA on Thursday, January, 21, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 232 Boyers Road, Forrestville, PA  on Friday, January 22, 2021 at  10:00 am.
