Vicky L. Best

Vicky L. Best, 68, of Harrisville, passed away December 11, 2024 at Orchard Manor with her loving family at her side.

Vicky was born September 14, 1956.  She was the daughter of the late Irwin “Gene” and Lois Shoup Best.

Vicky graduated from Slippery Rock High School.  She had worked for Quality Life Services as a nurse’s aide.

Vicky was a devoted Christian and loved to read her bible.  She was a member of the Grove City Baptist Church in Grove City.   Vicky loved to be with her family and looked forward to get togethers.  She enjoyed her walks around town in the evening.  She was an animal lover, especially her cats. 

Loved ones to cherish her memory are her sister Vera Allen and her husband Earl of Slippery Rock, her nephew Jason Allen and his wife Nicole of Slippery Rock; her great nephews Ezra and Eran Allen of Slippery Rock.  Her Aunt Valjean Shook of Florida also survives. 

Vicky was preceded in death by her dad Gene who passed away March 27, 2018 and her mom who passed away September 4, 2010.

Funeral services where private and burial took place at Harmony Cemetery in Harrisville.
