Wayne Clifford Kimbel

Wayne C. Kimbel, 79, of Grove City, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026 following a brief illness.

Born on August 28, 1946, in Cincinnati, OH, Wayne was the son of the late Robert and Thelma Kumbel.

Wayne graduated from Perry High School and continued his education at Allegheny County Community College.  He worked as a respiratory therapist at McKeesport Hospital.

On July 15, 1967, Wayne married Margaret A. Kader who survives.

Wayne was a member of the St. Faustina Parish, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and family cookouts.

Along with is wife Wayne is survived by his brother Donald Kimbel of Pittsburgh, his nieces and nephews Stanley Kader, Herbert Graham, Mary O’Connell, Justina Nellis, Theresa Novahowski and Shannon Sherman and several great nieces nephews.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Bonita Wood and a brother Michael Kimbel.

Family will receive friends at the Jamison McKinley Funeral Home, 117 North Main Street, Harrisville from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday, February 3, 2026.  Wayne’s funeral mass will take place at the St. Peters Church, 670 S Main St, Slippery Rock, PA 16057 on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at the St. Mary Cemetery in Pittsburgh.
